Low Fat Tomato Soup

Ingredients:

  • 3 medium size Tomatoes (boiled)
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1/2 cup low fat milk
  • Black pepper
  • Salt & sweetener to taste

Directions:

  • Blend the tomatoes in blender and strain it.
  • Heat up the pan and add crushed garlic clove.
  • Now add strained mixture and let it boil.
  • Add salt, sweetener and black pepper.
  • Pour it into a soup bowl and mix low fat milk.
  • Serve Hot with toasted bread slices.

Low Fat Peanut Chaat


Ingredients:

  • Raw Peanuts with Shell (250 gm)
  • Sea Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger 1/2 Inch (Grated)
  • 1 Onion Chopped
  • 1 Tomato Chopped
  • Green Chilies Chopped 
  • Fresh Coriander 
  • Chat Masala,Roasted cumin powder and salt to taste
  • Half lemon juice

Directions:

  • Pressure-cook the peanuts in five cups of water with sea salt and grated ginger about four to five whistles. 
  • Drain and Shell them. 
  • Take the peanuts in a bowl. 
  • Add salt, Chat Masala,roasted cumin powder, onion, tomato, green chilies, coriander leaves, lemon juice and salt & mix well. 
  • Serve hot or cold.

Oatmeal Pan Cakes

Ingredients:

  • 2 Cup Oats ( roasted or ready to eat )
  • 1/2 Cup low fat curd
  • Salt to taste
  • Olive Oil 

Directions:

  1. Soak oats into 1/2 cup warm water for 3-5 mins.
  2. Add curd and mix it well to prepare a batter.
  3. Add Salt to taste.
  4. Heat up the pan and put 1/4 teaspoon olive oil on it.
  5. Pour the batter into the pan &  Use about 1/4 cup batter per pancake. 
  6. When the top side is bubbly and puffed up, and the underside is brown, turn the pancake. 
  7. Brown the second side and transfer to a plate.

Tomato Onion Mello-Jello


Ingredients

  • 3 Medium Tomato 
  • 1 onion 
  • 2 cloves garlic 
  • Chopped green chilies 
  • Salt to taste 
  • Chopped coriander for garnishing 

Directions

  1. Boil 1/2 liter water and cut the cap of tomatoes. 
  2. Blanch tomatoes and Peel off. 
  3. Deseed & roughly chop tomatoes. 
  4. Now Heat up the pan on a low temperature. 
  5. Add chopped onion, chilies and crushed garlic with 2 Tsp water and pinch of salt. 
  6. Cook until it softens. 
  7. Add tomatoes and let it cook for 3 mins.( add water if feels dry) 
  8. Add salt to taste and garnish with fresh coriander leaves at last.
